When you make quilts, whether for family or friends or customers, the moment of triumph is when they get them and respond. Hopefully with joy and pleasure, as is the case above. In my last two posts (see Lone Star Bereavement Quilt or Contemporary Log Cabin Quilt – Luke’s Quilt) I’ve discussed the making of the two quilts for Luke (above). I also made two quilts for his sister Lisanna, shown above clutching her small quilt and lying on her full-size bed quilt – all made from her dad’s shirts.
