Recently I was pleasantly surprised to find that Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts are getting even more artistic and unique. I’ve been making them for over 12 years and the latest ones are so very beautiful.
Shelley came to me with 38 lovely Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts. She had visited each city where she collected a t-shirt, sometimes collecting three different t-shirts from the same city but at different locations. She admitted that these 38 shirts were only some of the ones she has collected. But there were enough that I had to distribute them into two different quilts, one a bed-sized quilt and one a smaller throw. The larger quilt was too big for my design wall, so I draped it over my couch. The background was a lovely creamy white which doesn’t show up well in this picture. Regardless, the beauty and artistry of the logos are astounding.

The background shows up better in the throw I made for Shelley. The logos in the borders were initially displayed on the front of each t-shirt – the large logos appear on the back.

Below is the quote Shelley wanted on the back of her large quilt, along with the backing she chose. She loved her new quilts!
